Somerset Velvet Paper
This is the most popular paper used in the Iris Gicleé industry today. The exceptional whiteness of this paper is achieved without the use of artifical optical whiteners. It is hand made in England with 100% rag content and a neutral pH (acid free). This paper works with the archival quality, technologically advanced inks to produce a print with excellent archival longevity. At 250 grams per square meter this paper can be categorized as a medium heavy weight paper.
